OK so reaper is kinda a weird one, BUT i think i hace a decent grasp on why hes a mass murderer, SO when he wasnt the reaper, he had a wife and a child, they did DEAD GONE NO MORE NADA, then later on moira saved him from death by turning him into the reaper, SO BASICALY moira stopped him from seeing his family again, so with all his pent up rage agression edgy boi crap hes going on murder sprees to try and take out this agression, hes mad at "the world" (just moira rlly) and so hes killing/trying to kill everybody :p (sorry its long and a lil weird but thats what happened to him lol)

Voicelines are kind of "what if" situations the PVP setting is.

But some of those reflect past/present relationships with various characters - and what they would say to each other if they were to meet again/had to work together

Like, take Kiriko and Hanzo. In the lore, they haven't met since hanzo left the clan (that we are aware of) - but if they did, Hanzo would ask Kiriko about her mother wellbeing, and Kiriko would dismissed him "tell her yourself", she clearly has a grudge against him

I was reading up on some Widowmaker lore. Why does she go back to leave roses on her deceased husband's grave while still working for Talon? She murdered him herself under their command. I understand that her brain was essentially rewired and the original Amelia is "gone", she was basically drained of all human emotion. So why visit? There's even an exchange between herself and Jack (S:76) about his preferred flower.

i recently learned about osanmisinmi, a kind of sculpture important in types of yoruban folklore
they're human heads with ram horns, and are seen as a sign of fertility and protection
the ram is chosen because it's believed their aggressive nature provides protection to families
do you think any of this could be connected to orisa's design? some examples i've seen look similar to her, but i'm not sure if i could say her horns look like "ram horns"
