and thats all fits with doomfist's view, conflict bring evolution while he ignores the part that during conflict we lost pieces of humanity in both the death it causes and the induviduals themselves
sigma for knowledge lost his sanity, reaper lost his body, moira lost a moral compass for the sake of science even if everybody scrutinized her for it, sombra isnt loyal to anyone but well through conflict gained her hacking skills but in trade off she became info hungry, mauga well probs survived the explosion and also will probs lose a part of him because of it. widow lost herself, forcefully, but in trade became an insane markswoman and sniper, a perfect killer. and doom, doom is willing to do everything for his goals, he got stronger through conflict, his team did too, so the entire world should be the same.

no simply said whenever someone says its wrong he can point to people around him, to the past while he ignores the losses cuz how he sees it its like getting bruises after a fight, sure you got hurt but you also got better thanks to it. the bruises in war are the deaths and the cities destroyed while the learning are the innovations war breeds

hes a good villain BECAUSE you can understand where he is coming from. You can see why its flawed because he ignores the human aspect of it, the losses to him are just a sacrifice which will make humanity stronger. You can understand why he thinks liek this and how he got to it while also knowing hes still doing bad things even if his intentions are for the whole of humanity

cuz you cant say he's completely wrong, it feels oddly human aswell which is why hes one of my fav characters + i fit more in his way of viewing as in the ends justify the needs even though im not that extreme. In that way indeed hes liek thanos as he just also does something bad for a better future in their eyes. Does that make them bad or good? are the intentions more important than the actions? do the long term benefits out weigh the short term loss? I really like that type of philosophical thinking.

i dont think he thinks its the only way, just the best way to make humanity stronger and tbf we do have evidence irl of that being the case. conflict fundamentally makes us adapt, if you fight more you get better at recognizing danger, reacting etc. In war we had lots of innovations.

Exactly, hes about teaching you, he kinda is like best way to say it an extreme martial arts teacher, he notices a flaw in your attack and takes full advantage of it and then scolds you for it so you improve. He doesnt seem to hate people he just wants people to be stronger. So when he sees a flaw he points it out.
