I personally run AP Zarya, taking volskya vortex round one, then you can either take major flex or containment shield rounds 3 and 5. On round 7 you have a lot of options depending on composition, but almost any power works. Make sure to take jumper cables and super conductor for massive survivability

So they're effectively all the same rank

Even if you go 5 wins 200 losses in rookie you will climb

So I guess the MM looks more at winrate and whatever hidden MMR is there, rather than the rank you see

cause there's a bit of stadium stuff that doesn't work quite intuitively (Like Mercy. Her beam is weapon damage & attack speed, but everyone thinks its AP) and a lot of people don't realise that you have to sink everything into one aspect rather than buffing everything

Most builds are pretty hyper specific and only have one or two pathways to reach with no other deviations

Then there's also some stuff that's just not good. Like AP Mei

is surprisingly decent

*after round 5.

stacking ability power + cooldown reductions means that you can have your ring infinitely up

and give your team around 150-170 overhealth constantly

• shield regeneration if you go for it

pairs extremely well if you have a zarya on your team

Most good builds you’ll find are based around AP, specifically axe and the shout wound power

Generally most JQ builds worth a damn have double axe, shout wound, and shout cooldown resetting on kills, with the final power really being down to whatever you think you might need to get the W, though I find that the one that gives you overhealth based on your max hp for each axe hit and knockdown on your ult can be pretty good. The knife powers aside from Merciless Magnetism I imagine can also be good as I don’t think using shout JUST to make your knife home in on something is really worth it. Twist the Knife I feel also stinks purely cause of how many ways you already have to inflict wounds, which leaves Royal Bullets and Thrill of Battle. I’m gonna cut straight to the point, unless you’re playing with friends, 99% of the time you don’t pick Thrill of Battle, it is next to impossible to fully use it in solo queue. Royal Bullets is entirely based on your ability to aim well. If you can hit headshots consistently, Royal Bullets can be very strong in extending your viable range, ensuring you live longer, and allowing some items to stay active longer or even permanently.

Idk if this has come up or if this is just me personally but I think them changing it to 10k has completely ruined the game for me I never get the chance to try out different perks or make a switch around before we’d win like 3 in a row then made a come back like if you’re countered now you have barley any chance of winning (lower ranks atleast) and pointless having 7 slots because you can barley often make it to 4 anyway, it’s been really frustrating me because I wanna try new builds with new hero’s and can never even get past like first power maybe second if I’m lucky

-1.5k dmg boosted every round minimum
-2.5k dmg minimum
-12 solo elm minimum
-10k+ healing every round minimum
-end every game around 70-90k, averaging 20-30k more credit then rest of team

Gets queued up with rookies and contenders, all solo queueing vs enemy 4 stacks, 5 stack top 500 players, and losing 6/10 games

Yes Blizzard, this is truly the best experience I have ever had playing Overwatch 2.

And lets not forget the 20 min queue timer, into some random person dc'ing, leading into a requeue, but you don't even get prio queue anymore so you have to requeue for another 20 minuets.

(This is EXCLUDING the 2 other games I had today where we were winning 2-0 and a random dps I had dc'd :) )

I wish I was exaggerating at all with that post.

There is also a power that grants her secondary fire a slowing vortex that does ability damage after you put a bubble on someone and there is an ult power that reduces how long it can keep someone stuck but in exchange it keeps a sizable damage increase which gets further increased by your total energy

Even if you’re focusing mainly on weapon power for Zarya you should always get something to let your bubbles do better since the more health they have the better they can protect you and your team and the more energy you get from them each time they get popped. Special mention to superflexor as it immediately gives you some health and 10% extra weapon damage and then for every instance of weapon damage you deal you gain a stack on it that grants 5% AP, maxing out at 25% extra AP or 5 stacks, though there is also enough for Zarya to work with to make focusing on AP at least viable.

Unfortunately since Superflexor specifically needs weapon damage and not weapon healing, Mercy can’t effectively use it to build up AP for Kitsune or her GA heal power-

Can someone help explain to me how the calamity power works for Ashe in stadium?

Like does it buff weapon over or your next ability dmg?

It adds a burn effect to the next 2 hits you deal with your viper for a bit, which does ability damage

Your gun still does the same base damage it would have done without Calamity active, it just simply inflicts burn onto whoever Viper next hits when it’s active

It combines really well with Infrared Lenses since the first shot will inflict burns onto the target, allowing the second shot to get the 20% damage increase from the item

This damage increase also works with EVERYTHING Ashe has that inflicts damage, including the burn tics that follow after the one that activated it

An important thing to remember though is that unlike JQ and her wounds, Ashe can’t stack her burn ticks, which puts Calamity in direct competition with Incendiary Blast, a power that still benefits you even if you hit a target already burning.

It looks dangerous until you realize that the moment someone puts cybervenom and liquid nitrogen on the soldier he is dead as fuck. Heck if you have an Ana all she needs to do is throw an anti on the soldier and he is dead. There is also a certain close range undying shotgun wielder that can and will very easily burst him down. In terms of pure burst damage Soldier Cass and Reaper are top 3 for dps. Freja is number 4 purely cause of the fact that she is mainly projectile. Mei HAS to be building weapon power AND have good aim on her icicles to get any meaningful burst, Ashe is entirely reliant on either incendiary blast or headshots, and Genji’s max burst damage potential is very much reliant on getting into melee range.

See here is the funny thing: Cass can also do that, but he doesn’t have to risk eating a face full of shotgun shells to do it. Soldier can also get similar kill potential with a rocket build, Ashe also can but she HAS to get a headshot or go incendiary blast and proc the insta damage effect when it hits a target already burning

• Soldier is the best lategame DPS. He's like an ADC from League of Legends.

Yes it's another orb build but honestly it's less orb reliant than most

you're more often using your blink boots in combination with Tommygun and Kitsune to deal massive damage with your blaster

ur basically gonna be a backline suck menace and the ult shreds, orbs still good but not the main focus and that way dva doesnt eat all ur value

They can both attack enemies and heal teammates. They also seem to have auto aim when firing at enemies

Focus on your beam while getting some AP to allow your bubbles to stay useful, superflexor especially helps with this since at base it gives you 10% WP and then every time you inflict weapon damage you get a stack that gives you 5% AP capping at 25% AP or 5 stacks

Getting some cooldown reduction will also be good to allow you to get your bubbles back sooner

Ehhh, part of the point of stadium is that you can make any character extremely strong but she is far from being even the strongest dps.

Out of dps hitscans Ashe DOES have the most effective range of them, the problem is that she is very much reliant on headshots for weapon damage and her burn damage can be easily removed or blocked by a fair few of the top options in Stadium

There is also the fact that people can just walk around dynamite’s aoe and Bob can become hard to gain value with if you don’t build him up enough

Though she can still gain value with a Bob that isn’t improved much at least, unlike WP Reaper

The clones are coded to prioritize healing over damage (since kiriko is a support after all). Which means, as long as there's an ally without 100% hp nearby, the clone will heal them rather than shoot people.

Either you randomly get your clone to walk where there's no allies so it starts shooting people, or you get the Power that lets you teleport anywhere, not just towards allies, letting you flank alone and thus making the clone shoot people by default.

You count as an ally btw, if you are near the clone at below 100% hp it will try to heal you instead of shooting, too.

Once you get your damage high enough that lifesteal can honestly be enough to save you from time to time

Probably a bit of both, they did make Infrared Sights boost ALL of her damage sources now in exchange for reducing the damage boost a small bit

So her gun, coach gun, her quick melee I think, her dynamite, BOB, all powers that give her extra damage, even the burn ticks that come after whatever started them up get boosted

I haven’t tested it yet but it might also work with other burn sources

So you could have a Rein go Magma Strike, a Dva drop lava everywhere, or an Orisa burning anything near her on Overheat and still benefit from it in theory

I’d need a second person to help check that though. Orisa would probably be the easiest to check since it won’t require whoever it’s being tested on to stand on the lava drops

Nah, some people have definetly gotten really high, they are insane tho. Insane enough to wait the queue times and to aim that well. There's a point in ladder where it feels like a completely different game, and i LOVE that and it's the only reason i like playing in Legend. People are actually coordinated and precise. Your teammates are always decent enough to rationalize problems and work together to overcome those obstacles. But then again, an enemy cassidy with what seems like aimbot and the equivalent of a full League of Legends match of wait time to play is so hard to pass by...

• Pylon build speed increased by 300%

• Pylon range increased by 300%

Solar Rifle:

• Fully charged primary fire now does 10 (attack power) fire dmg over 1 second
• Gain a 30% chance that a fully charged primary fire creates an AOE explosion that does 15 (attack power) damage
• Secondary fire now pierces allies with a 15% decrease with each ally it pierces

Captive Sun:

• During Captive Sun gain 300% attack speed, 40% ability power, 20% weapon power, and 7 seconds of flight
• Replace captive sun with Incendiary Explosion. Illari becomes the center of a detonation (think dva bomb). With a charge time of 2 seconds and a 20m range that deals 500 (ability power) dmg at the epicenter with a 60% fall off every 5m
• Captive sun can pass through barriers with a 50% decreased explosion radius (if passed through)

Outburst:

• Gain a second use of Outburst
• Outburst gives you 3s of free flight
• Outburst now does 80 (ability power) fire dmg over 3 seconds

after using ult it heals 148 because the item gave me 10% AP

We can corroborate this is true with math 135 + 135x0.1 = 135 + 13.5 = 148.5

i ulted again and its still healing the same, thus it does not stack

it'd be too broken on Dva if it stacked (i tried it with Dva weeks ago when i first read the item hoping it'd stack 😭 )

like i have to fight mercy and juno every match since they are gods basically and like diving them literally doesnt work

and if i try to actually sit and wait for a good opportunity to flank, one of two things will happen

A: both healers turn to heal the person im jumping
B: i get pinged and then everyone turns to kill me

or bonus option C:

team genuinely dies in a half second before an opportunity shows itself to begin with. like how does genji get it done in this mode

they made an update some time ago and it's better, though i wouldn't say it's "fixed" per se

by next season the matchmaking should be almost completely fixed since people would have Stadium ranked history for the algorithm to put them against the correct people based on their stadium performance

They should adjust points for loses and factor in MVP. I hate how 5v5 is so dependant on hoping you have a semi-decent tank. You can get MVP every single round but you still lose just as many points as if you were the useless player. Number of games I get 75k+ pts as support and lose is too high.

New game mode. Matches are divided into shorter rounds, all on different maps and across a few different modes. First team to 4 wins wins the match.

Between rounds you spend cash, which you earn by getting kills, healing, etc. during the rounds. The cash is used to buy items to power up your hero - more damage for abilities, more health, and so on. Every odd number round you also pick a power from a pool of them unique to each hero that has a substantial upgrade that changes at least one of their abilities - e.g. Moira can fire more orbs at once, Kiriko creates a decoy of herself when she teleports, Mei can turn into an ice boulder and roll around when she freezes herself.

armor negates 50% of all dmg and 30% to beams

divine intervention is the best chunk negation item

and reduction field is best used if you are getting gunned down by tick

You are right on survival, though you are wrong on armor damage reduction. Its not 50%, its a flat number (i forgot if it was 10 or 14) and then if the damage is less than that number then its 50%

it goes through defences

it ignores armor and focuses on life pools.. since volskya operates similarly you can get a double dip in pecentile dmg

not raw dmg but percent based meaning no amount of reduction can protect you

thats why its so good
