i literally watch soldiers miss 70% of their shots and are able to nick down 250hp bcs the 0.75 worth of it

You mainly build ability power for her axe which just ignores the barrier, rampage also ignores it so the only thing for JQ that it blocks is the knife throw and her shotgun, I’m pretty sure the barrier also doesn’t block the shout bleed power

Though I haven’t tried the homing knife yet I imagine you could throw the knife over the barrier and then make it fly back into Rein? Haven’t tried it yet though

She very much can, since the shout bleed IS affected by ability damage, but idk if it gets blocked by Rein’s Barrier

Ultimately though I think a potentially big reason why players might be having a hard time getting JQ to work late game is that because they are focusing so much on the brawl aspect of her, they’re forgetting that she still is very much also a poke hero, granted, she doesn’t have as much range as other pokes, but she is still able to reliably poke with her knife throw and her shotgun’s tighter spread.

That fact is ultimately why I think along with stuff for Axe and Shout, it’s also a good idea to get the item that increases your knife’s pull strength and something to help your shotgun’s damage, preferably one of the 2 ability items that gives a boost to your weapon damage whenever you use an ability

Gloomgauntlet could also be good simply to let your melee do more, both with or without the knife since I find myself weaving it in with my other attacks to keep my healing up

however some eyes which are untrained may think that they are just good

however if one dares to look at their name

these clues may be able to fool the incapable

So currently in Stadium there is no rank based matchmaking and ranks reset every season. What there is though, is another hidden MMR system, however our Stadium MMR's are seperate from our MMR in the rest of the game and since the gamemode is still new, our MMR's are a blank slate. This will make matchmaking rocky for the first month or so of the game mode until everyone is placed in their ''brackets'' by the system.

There still is no rank based matchmaking, but at the very least once the MMR evens out match quality should improve.

For sure! I think so too. I mean you wanna try to win still but that applies to any game. Some people are like 'it's comp!' Makes me feel like if I can't headshot every time I shoot with ashe I'm not good enough to play with them. And I don't want that feeling to be the way the mode feels.

i am an ashe main and used to feel like crap for my accuracy but keep in mind, the #1 ashe has only a 30% average crit chance
practice makes perfect, and aim isnt everything! game sense > aim any day

Of course aim factors in to everything a little bit but you don't need to hit all your shots or anything. Mostly positioning and taking off angles along with consistent body shots would be enough to win a game ez. An alive DPS is better than a dead DPS. Stay next to a wall or corner at all times unless the fight is won, play near health packs.
By off angles I don't mean flanking either, just means drawing the enemies attention from a position that isn't down main so they have to look in more than one direction. They can't shoot your support if they have to look at a building behind them where you're shooting them from. You don't even have to get picks like that either, just taking their attention away is enough.

Paying attention to enemy ultimates so you know to not stay grouped with your team when a reaper has his ult or a junker queen has her ult, stuff like that.

if you aint throwing dynamite out and shooting it at every single opportunity on ashe, you aint gettin full value. gives so much ult charge and BOB is a game changing ult (without an ana to sleep him 😦 )

first round i get hyper healer and ability power weapon power and armor

then next round get the item that increase hyper ring duration

3rd round get the cooldown reduction when allys pass through it

than 5th and seventh either do the torpedo build or get the one that slows enemies

I’ve just roughly done the maths. Based on my win rate and average matchmaking:

to get from pro 5 to complete pro 1 it would take me 75 games or 45 hours of game time. This is with my current win rate of 80%

Realistically my win rate usually sits about 65ish% and will probably kick in as MMR sorts itself. In this case it’ll take me 150 games or 90 hours. I don’t even want to think about the two ranks above pro I intend on getting under my belt too.
