#T3 Skelliemans

I would like T3 Skeleton units, like more elite skeletons that we could get access to for a similar cost of the bone horror.

I'm looking at games like Total War Warhammer where you have your normal skeleton frontline, but you also get more advanced undead in the form of things like Grave Guard and Wights and what not and I think its kinda sad we dont get those more beefy, more intimidating skeletal units in a game like this.

I hope maybe with the update we get some T3 Skeletons. Pics from Total War Warhammer for comparison. Skeleton Warriors on the left (Basic ones, like T1 Skeleton Shields in AOW4) Grave Guard on the Right (What I would wish, a T3, scarier skeleton unit that can work more in the end game)

Not saying it should go exactly that route.

Honestly I would be fine with just taking the T1 skeletons, giving them a new aesthetic for a T3 variant, and then buffing their base stats to T3 with nothing else added on top. That way they're basically like Legend Ranked T1 skeletons, but they have the ability to rank up even higher.

I'd even settle for T2 skeleton units with the same idea in play.

if we evet get an undead mount, they could make a t2 skeleton on undead horse unit

#

theres only 1 undead unit at t2

#

so it would be nice

Skeleton cavalry

#

I just want to be able to field a full army of skeletons that are... racial skeleton units, rather than monstrous skeletal units like the Bone Horror or Bone Dragon lol

#

I love them, dont get me wrong

#

But I want that classic, hordes of shambling undead army feel

#

I would even like it if we got more zombie units too, with different animations, so more than just wightborn

#

I'm guessing its because wightborn exists that we dont have as many undead options, since technically it does turn all your racial units into undead, but I want special undead boyos >.<

Anyone wanna do daily skellie posts?

Til our boney bois get some love?

Honestly I’d be happy with a bone golem (T2) and a death rider (T3).

I think, it would be cool if they were unsummonable, but instead evolving from basic ones IF you've researched Bone Horrors as an addition to the already existing ability to raise them.

AD&D Winter Weights would be a graceful merger of the themes of the shadow affinity.

So you can spend 50 souls to get the T3 variants of skelliemans, but with caveat your T1 skelliemans could evolve to T3s

#

Or at least a T2 Variant

I like the idea of infusing the skeletons with extra souls and magic to increase their power to a new tier. That’d be cool

Let me be a skeleton king dagnabit

I support any and all skeleton additions.

I'm telling ya. Perfect merger of the two shadow themes.

I’d love to get a major transformation that makes your race turn into skeletons

#

“Lich’s Transformation”

I can’t be the only one who wants to make him

One idea I just had for the vampire DLC would be a major transformation called "King of the mindless hordes" or something, but gives everyone undead but for regular racial units, gives immunity to mind control but no other benefits besides basic undead ones, and gives heroes and mythic units a bunch of buffs. Basically the flavor would be something like the tomb Kings from Warhammer fantasy, where the powerful and noble members of your society are becoming powerful undead while the regular members are becoming their mindless servants. I know you can flavor wightborn that way if you want, but it would be cool to have additional mechanics support that flavoring

Oh man i could definitely go for an entire skeleton culture, lord and all!

#

I also want some skeleton horses and wyverns for army mounts

I like flavoring my undead as all being the sentient sort

echo ginkgo

I’d argue that skellies are sentient since they maintain their level (unless that changed when the zombies lost their levels from life).

Does anyone remembers the Ghoul Curse from AoW3? I think that was very cool thing. You could make a ghoul from any other unit. It kept its skills and status but got some Ghouls fixed debufs. That really felt like a proper necromancy: your army is made up from what you killed and rised as an undead. Getting this in AoW4 would be amazing I think. The problem would be to make all these reanimated units to look undead. Maybe something like race transformation but not race locked but unit locked as a unit trait?

Tbh skeleton works for that, each race has a skeleton model.

#

Even the insect form has an exoskeleton model hehe

opaque bison
#

Yeah, just armor up these skeletons into looking like Proper T3s and we got that

#

Though... skeleton animals would be cool too ngl

opaque bison
#

Exactly

surreal furnace

Skeletal animals would be awesome for a play through of a dark forest like character

I'm hoping for at least skeletal horse mounts for a potential Season 3
