I absolutely love ascension traits and I'd just like to see more of them make appearances. They add so much flavor to our heroes/rulers/godir/dragon lords/eldritch sovereigns/etc. I like having a neat lil extra ability to better distinguish my main head honcho. :D

Isn't it 2 trait per affinity in the base game then 1 trait per DLC tomes taken? Then wait next DLC and you'll have more ascension traits. The thing missing would be choice of ambitions.

Here's the thing a bunch of the traits can only be taken if you have certain tomes
Like for example if you wanted Ascended Spiritbreaker you'd need to research Tome of the Doomherald as well as Tome of Oblivion
There are plenty of new ascensions they could add to the game just by basing the abilities on whatever tome combos you need to research it

You only need one of the tomes for those ones but some of them would benefit from a new one because they don't fit it super well, like tome of winds giving earthshaker.
