When we end turn in combat, there's a rather extra dialog about all your units going into guard mode. I guess that's good for the newbies who are learning the game, but it should be possible to have a "don't ask again" option or similar.

I always wondered why we never got this in Planetfall and why we don't have it now. I think AoW3 did not have an "are you sure you want to end your round" notification in combat, or that it did have a "don't ask again" feature for it, since I could press "end round" and it would just cut straight to putting all my guys in defense mode.

There's an option in the options screen that allows you to take that away, if i'm not mistaken. Check the Gameplay tab.
