ok last night i was flying towards an island on my ship when i suddenly started getting attacked by Manta Rays - dieing a few times , so i then Saved Quit option which i,ve done countless times before , but when i logged back in i heard myself dieing again with a complete black screen ....... i tried hitting space and choosing to rez back on my ship where i died , but nothing , and the black screen remained, tried giving it a chance to go away , nothing...... tried verifying files without luck, same reaction after numerous attemps , i tried a trick i seen on a you tube where you create a brand new world - and rez your charachter in there ,....... but after doing that , every single time i tried to log into that new world the game would crash every single time, looking for help devs ... a solution or fix for this issue , until then the game is unfortunatly unplayable.

I had this issue as well, I made a new character in the same world, logged in with that, logged out again, then my "stuck" character worked again after that.
