Electric Filament

Where the heck do I find Electric Filament? I've been to many different islands already without a single one. I'd really like to build myself a lantern and feel more comfortable exploring in these super dark caverns

on ALOT of them out side the starter islands they glow green

So I've made it to two different islands that have Nautlius Mobs, and would've thought I'd find some there, but still no luck...

You will have the most luck finding electric filament on islands with a more blue color pallete as opposed to the standard green grass. Try to search in ruins and nearby caves to them on those islands for them.

Azure Groves (blue grass) and Atlas Heights (green-tinted underside) both spawn them, with a particular bias towards the ruins on those islands.

higher tier islands. Valve District for example is covered in Electric Filaments, Saborian Alloy, Flight and Weapon Recorders, etc...
