besides the game giving you more Combat Power every 10 levels and so, and you can also use collection items of course, but the hidden jump is optimizing OL gear on your units. high ATK and elemental up rolls will massively boost your power but it depends on each unit. (hit rate is almost useless for non SG nikkes for example) Make sure to also level up your OLed gear to level 5 and make sure your skills are levelled properly too

depends on the type of player you are. like if you are into collecting the full roster eventually then you would want to roll diesel

people usually prefer pulling for limited release characters/collab characters, followed by pilgrim banners which the next one would be on new years( or buying the pilgrim with pity tickets to avoid the extra rng pilgrim banners can be). regarding all standard release characters its preferred to save your tickets and just wish list them to try and target pull them for your roster(unless you are really attached to that character then no one can save your crystals haha)

On rerolling in general; only do it when you start if you get completely "wrecked", even then it's probably fine. I started during re:zero and got brid, i think jackal, and maiden. Kept going, managed to get the re:zero units, kept going, year later, pretty much cleared everything except past tower XYZ and hard mode level XX and was lacking maybe 3 nikke, all with maybe 20 spent on..well...an outfit on rosanna XD

If the plan is to play for a long time, it's all gonna balance out and you gain so much during every event.
