However, unlike many other gacha games that use pity system where each failed pull increases the chance of getting a high rarity character, NIKKE uses a spark system where each pull (whether it is a success or fail) gives a currency called mileage (two types, gold mileage from advanced recruit vouchers used and silver mileage from standard recruit vouchers used) that can be used in the shop to get a guaranteed high rarity character. 200 of either mileage are needed for either type. 200 gold mileage for high rarity characters, 200 silver mileage for duplicates of high rarity characters
