if you login every day you get enough resources in my opinion, whether it's ''F2P friendly'' depends entirely on what you think that expression means. I picked up Nikke during the 2nd evangelion event and was able to stack up 90k gems, which was more than enough to get me through the 2.5 anni even with bad pulls

I haven't missed a login, otherwise I haven't done anything special. For the record I did not pull on anything during the evangelion event, which was apparently a mistake as the evangelion units are pretty good, but nonetheless I was saving gems for most of the period between the event and 2.5 anni

I mean it's a little bit of everything, most of the daily things you can do in nikke give you a small amount of gems, either directly or indirectly. Grind campaign, grind hard mode, grind the towers, do all of your dailies/event stuff, the coop thing, and so on. Each individual source of gems is fairly small, but if you do everything, your daily income is pretty good

quick explanation is that after the banner, most characters (except walpurgis night) appear in a ticket shop so you can just get whatever you want by playing the game.
