For me it depends how much you want to play the game, and how seriously you want to dedicate yourself to it : want to get gold frames ? Reroll. You need better units.
You just want to play, do your dailies, a bit of story, it’s enough, not the best, not the worst, pretty average account during an event like this one

She’s ok, really not amazing if you want to reroll and get serious into the game, I’d recommend to reroll for : scarlet black shadow : rapi red hood, and at least another pilgrim like crown, modernia, red hood
These are the top ones, if you get the first 2 nikkes I talked about and scarlet or cinderella, it is still a very very good account that you should probably keep.
Getting gold frames as a f2p is a tedious task, you might need some help before trying to do that

Haha used to be the same for me. Nikke was the one game I had good luck in (bottom 30% or lower in any hoyo game), but the last 6 months have been awful. Sometimes it pops off and I get massive luck for a bit then it goes stale for hundreds of pulls. I worked my butt off to get winter lud with every available resource until the very last minute of her banner (literally) and had to resort to golden ticket. Similar happened during cinderella with a 200+ streak of only 1 ssr (who was just another core for a random nikke).

For sure, hyv games have some really hard asks for how little resources they grant, apart from ZZZ recently. I spend my life grinding without getting anything due to my bad luck and the system they have. As for the Cinderella thing yeah if you wanna be smart with pulls it's way better to hide your gems for banners that don't have 1% droprate like pilgrims and now Rapi, and spend tickets instead. I went as hard as I did with gems on winter maiden (said lud earlier but meant maiden) due to limited units having a standar rate (though from my experience that's just a typo from devs lol)

Yeah, having the major dps and supports built then focusing on elemental teams for raids and AI is the best course, with some pvp followthrough when possible. Personally I find pushing campaign simple enough with some pierce units like red hood or alice on PC to fast charge and gamerchair through. Same for tribe. Everything else kind of demands some structure in building if you want to get good rewards (not super important though as it's not too different depending on rank) but for glory it's the horizontal wave for sure. Best course is def getting the major units perfected first before anything though. Red hood, sbs, now rapi etc.

this game does not need dupes at all. dupes only make very little on basic stats (atk/hp/def), unlike brown dust where they level up your skills. the only reason you want extra dupes is if you want to be super competitive in solo or union raids which is dominated by whales. save your gems and tickets for future limited banners. on the other hand if you want dupes just use the wishlist in the ordinary banner. you'll get them over time.

yeah, new year step up is pretty much worth it because you get an guaranteed ssr of your choice in 6600 gems. The only downside is you won't be getting any golden ticket for the pulls which I guess is fine.
For new players i would definitely recommend going for that step up and for veterans it gives an chance to get another dupe for their character.
