Yes 4:3 is easier to aim on and more consistent to hit quick headshots, yes 16:9 gives slightly more FoV. Considering most of the best shooter players in history don't play on 16:9 the trade off to fix "skill issue" (getting slightly more consistent aim?) is worth it for most people. Back in 2012 CSGO i was hard stuck LE for a long time and after swapping to stretched res I instantly saw a massive improvement in my aim and skyrocketed to global elite in a few months of practice. Everyone likes different feel but the mentality of "if u try to improve through different methods it means skill issue" yeh...
