Two things that need to be pointed out.

1. Removal of Flash wasn't the worst thing for the Internet, just the worst thing for gaming.
2. Flash games couldn't be rated and restricted based on age like main published titles. I remember countless games that I played when I was child that I wouldn't have had immediate access to because of the themes in general. There's one about playing RR as an orange and The sift heads series. Sure you can say that it's better for your child to be playing flash games instead of being on twitch but it wasn't really a "safe" space. Alot of sites that hosted flash games were also a form of Social Media like Kongregate. It had flash games AND chat rooms and for the most part there was no safety in those things

ak-12 has a fixed gas tube making cleaning an issue (notably they still use ammo with corrosive powder, so cleaning is more frequent), it has an extendable stock that folds about 70% of the way over so it catches on all of your web gear and slings, the rail-mounted dust cover has more room for optics but it isnt mounted as rigidly to the receiver so good luck maintaining that accuracy, the rails on the fore end can flex with minimal pressure so that means no lasers
