if you are up, could you fire regedit (registry editor, where the game holds some settings)_
and go to this path
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EvilEmpire\The Rogue Prince of Persia
then find language/language_h[code] and change it to 0
it reset your game language, if the game will works for you, then maybe something off is with the localisation that causes the bug

it seems that the issue on Xbox is due to server synchronisation for cloud save. but there may be severals issues

the gampass version is different from the steam version so it may have differents issue we didn't saw

I know, Xbox/PC version is packed in some kind of sandbox package, AKA UWP or something, I am not a dev, so lets not get into details haha

Hum. I don't know how Game Pass PC Version works but I guess they are just using the UbiConnect versions (similar build).
That said, I think the language setting reset might just be a coincidence because I don't see how it could block anything there. 🤔

Sure, On the main screen (press any key to start) then a window appears (connecting to Ubisoft) then the screen freezes
