#How to nerf protective aura on the Prince

Many players told that protectice aura on the prince is too strong.
And I guess it is since it can protect you from each attack, no matter how many damages it deals.
It's like an infinite health that last a hit.

What if instead we have a basic protective aura that we can be enabled through Vayu's breath, but it is an extra health for the prince?
Let's say the extra health on the prince is 50 (I don't remember the actual damage of a hit at initial levels).
I trigger Vayu's breath -> my health bar has an extra light blue part with 50 HP, independent from my current hp.

If an enemy hits me, it attacks first the light blue part, then the rest.

This way, Vayu's breath:

  • is not anymore a block-everything strategy when the shield is on
  • it's definitely weaker then the current one - I an enemy deals 100 damage, I still get 50
  • the effect of the shield becomes weaker the more you go further in the game
  • it opens up to new medallions to improve the shield (or other actions that trigger the shield itself)

I just don't really like this skill to begin with

rewarding players for jumping off a wall 5 times to a substantial enough degree for them to drop everything they're doing specifically to jump off a wall 5 times is just really bad for the pacing of the game imo and encourages overly safe gameplay to the point of being uninteresting

50 health is better than a free hit but still too strong imo

Maybe It should be decoupled from Vayu's Breath. Like

Trigger the protective aura After 8 successful hit in 5 seconds without taking damage. Not stackable. Autobreaks After 5 seconds. Cooldown of 10 seconds (?).

Numbers modifiable as always

This way you're moved to attack with more frequence and not play "defensively". It makes the parkour less useful for sure, but at least doesn't break the Attack flow

Seeing to what Awakening rework heading to I think it would have a point (like A15+) where the perk is simply disabled.

Idea with shield 🛡️ of 50 points was suggested long time ago by me, but there are still many people who would not like if the perk was removed. So I see that it could be a difficulty step in Awakening

I mean, I use a skill point for that, and the Stone (or awakenings level) removes it

tho, I lost track what skills I have cuz there is no UI or a way to see them

and the same for Sukhra skills/unlocks with starting weapons etc

But I don't know if It's ok to have a lot of skills from Paachi.. and they should be less impactful than skills from trees
