Vive tracker drift and no drivers

i am currently using a meta quest pro and use steam link mostly over quest link but i use to have the vive hub tracker drivers in steamvr in the add ons but recently i started having tracker drift to where i will line up with my body in the center of my room only and if i move then it shifts to try and stay in the center and is way off aligned. but along with this problem i realized that the vive_ultimate_tracker and htc business streaming isnt on my add on list anymore. i can provide screenshots and video of the trackers when i can get into vrchat and show where it drifts.

3100: no vive ultimate tracker driver found code finally came up too

found files but when transfered to steamvr drivers it wont work

where should those be at?

Do you have vive hub installed?

You will need vive hub even if you use SteamLink to directly connect to SteamVR.
Install vive hub, and then, when installing it, tick the box for the ultimate tracker service.

This will install the SteamVR plugin

You will need Vive hub to stream your trackers to SteamVR since Vive ultimate trackers, unlike Vive 3.0 trackers, are not native SteamVR devices.

3100 is just the error code for no steamvr driver found

did you tick the box for vive ultimate tracker when installing vive hub?

You see the manage SteamVR addons tab?
The ultimate tracker driver should be in there, if you cannot see it, I would go ahead and reinstall vive hub, maybe you didn't tick the box for ultimate trackers when installing it.

so incase of this happening to anyone else my solution was to instal the previous version of steam vr and once i did that the files finally transfered over so it mustve been the update that broke it.
