VIVE FOCUS VISION constantly disconnects and reconnects

I am new to VR. This is the first VR headset I ever purchased. I have a decent PC. 4070TI, liquid cooled. Plenty of DDR4 ram. M.2 harddrive. I connect it directly via the streaming cable that came free with the headset. The problem is when I start up a game, weather it is Steam VR or any other game, the headset disconnects and reconnects non stop. Sometimes it does it every so often. Sometimes it is non stop. I am in game and it disconnects, I see the red USB loading logo, then the game comes back on. It does not diconnect when im just in the Vive hub room. If anyone knows what to do I would greatly appreciate it as this is very frustrating for a first time buyer. Thank you.

the way i do it is :

1. open steam vr 2.opeb vive hub 3.set guide then i put on my headset and connect to pc

i would get a new power unit like at least 65w usb c or dc dont matter it helps a lot

Thank you. I will try what I can, but im starting to think it is something else. I just tried it wirelessly and it still disconnects. It has to be a settings issue I assume.

Even with the best internet in the world i still get hiccups here and there with vive hub but 0 with virtual desktop if anything its vive hub

Well dam. I need to figure this out. I have no idea whats going on. I will try to reinstall things maybe that will do it. If that don't work I guess I gotta keep digging.

U can get a nice 65w usb c power unit on amazon

My question is do you think that will solve it? I mean it disconnects when using just the battery aka wireless. It's almost exactly the same as when it's connected via the streaming kit. Would that not mean it's a software thing? Hope it's not the vr hardware itself.

Tbh in my opinion its not about solving it since the software itself needs work not trhing to talk bad and im not vive staff so just what im saying as far as the wifi u will always have disconnections doesnt matter and for when its wired like i said again whats helped me is getting the converter more power

Over all i enjoy this headset so much
