Steam VR telling me the headset is off when trying to establish tracking, but it's on

Hi the establish tracking window tells me the headset is off anf will not connect, however the small popup tells me its on and can tell when it moves and such, the green light is also on the headset

do you have all the cables plugged in from the orange box to your pc?

check if your base stations are on b and c channels and worst case try to check cables

base stations are on B and C, redid all the cables and still no luck

do you hear the usb connection sound and see new devices in device manager pop up?

Yes, and everything comes up as connected on the actual steamVR, its only in the establish tracking window it says its off

switch to beta branch and turn require hmd steamvr setting to no
