#Slideshow when trying to use streaming..

On my router I have tried 80hz and changed the bits on vive streaming from any where between 40 and 160. Nothing worked. I know my router works fine since I can stream to my quest pro on 5g from a computer connected to wi-fi from many walls in-between. But when I try on the vive nothing. 5g has never work and I had just assumed it was never intended to and could live on 6g alone but after ultimate I guess it is time to try and fix this.
I have another router dedicated for streaming connected directly to my computer for 6g but also tried it on 5g going through the channels and bandwidth and bit rates no luck. Audio and fps are stuttering and 1 to 2 fps
I have tried with Bluetooth on and off and changed my drivers to the most reliable ones for amd 6700 xt
Another question : is the game you play Beat Saber ?
I noticed recently that my Beat Saber was the only game with heavy lags, I lowered the graphics settiongs in it, and now I'm pretty fine
I am not even playing anything this is the loading screen ðŸ«
But the loading screen to what ?
in the Vive Streaming Hub :
- In Performance, lower the Bitrate (go all the way low, check if it works, then increase until you get the right setting)
- in Graphics, set it to Auto, lower the Sharpening
BAsically try to set everything to the lowest value and see if it helps
I’ve done that already even the lowest it does like 1 frame then goes black to shows vive loading logo
1 fps is not exactly the best phrase more like I only see black and loading logo and get 1 frame every 15 secs
I can play vrchat aio on my headset just fine on my non dedicated router for some additional information
Can you check the OpenXR runtime is set to SteamVR OpenXR
Aye, first thing I do after work
Sorry for hijacking the thread. Just frustrated after hours of troubleshooting and to no avail
Current openxr runtime is steamvr.
This is what in the headset looks like
It is not always like this, after many boot cycles I might get a playable session
This is what playable looks like.
@west fractal The video looks that it is repeatedly retrying the connection to do self-recovering. Had you tried with TCP mode? That is in the Performance settings. Another thing is that could you check the "RTPPS" value in your %programdata%\HTC\ViveSoftware\ViveRR\RRServer\serverSetting.setting for me? Is it 1400 or 55000? VIVE Streaming will change to RTPPS to 1400 according the transmission condition. If that is not happening, you might try manually set to 1400 to see it helps there.
tcp is on
rtpps is set to 55000, changing to 1400 now
It is still jittery but is more reliably playable which is important. 3/5 times loading into vrchat did not immediately make the thing black.
