It's hard to say directly. In some scenarios I have heard of some users getting the USB-C to DisplayPort convertors designed for pushing multiple monitors and having some success. It'll depend on how that studiobook's C ports are routed. Did it have a particular model number on the SutdioBook?
If that's how the system is reporting it's unlikely to work through a standard setup unfortunately. We have worked with a few in the past who have gotten a HDMI convertor to work but every time my team has tested one it has failed.
It may be worth looking into HDMI to DisplayPort convertors to see if you can find a model that works, but if you do I would add caution and say make sure you have the option to return the convertor should it not work. Normally we recommend against them as most do not work for VR.
Do you have any adapter suggestions for me?
ICOC HDMI-DP12A is an HDMI™ to DisplayPort Adapter which allows you to transmit HDMI signal into DP++ signal. This product supports DP1.2 specification with resolution up to 4096 x 2160@30Hz. Besides, it is equipped with USB-A port to supply power in case
will this work for me
I wouldn't be able to say for sure. All of our internal testing has not had one successfully work.
Technically speaking DisplayPort 1.2 is the minimum in order to run a VIVE Pro but a direct conversion doesn't always work.
As much as I hate to say it. It's possible that this will not work with your laptop.
I used to get this too on my Asus TUF but it worked anyway with a C to DP adapter, I cant guarantee its the same for you but one thing you can check is if this C port is a Thunderbolt 3/4 too or its just a regular port
For me it was thunderbolt 3 which is matching the requirements for the vive pro, so I took a chance and succeed.
send me pls adapter link

Thats the exact one I'm using
thanks hope this works for me
Did you already get the set or you first checking the adapter?
If you don't want to risk it not working although not likely, just use a monitor with the adapter, if the monitor works, no reason VR won't!
No HDMI doesn't support the same data transfer method
USB C tho, depends on the C port, if it's thunderbolt then should be fine.
Thanks for the info, how do i check my USBC type?
Google is the best detective, search for your PC/Laptop model and check if it has thunderbolt 3 or 4
Also incase of a laptop go to nVidia 3D and see if the thunderbolt goes to the GPU
But that sometimes "lies" cause for me it says it goes to CPU but my Vive Pro works perfect on my laptop.
USB Type-C Detail USB Type-C port supporting: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbps)
it was on my integrated at first but changed it to 3050
devicemanagement:
i dont see it popup
the usb
c
If it doesn't specify thunderbolt then I dont think its gonna be good, tho I never tried so ik not 100% sure
On another note, 3050 is not a very powerful card to have, you are gonna run on low pretty much everything
1070 RTX did fine PC
Yeah of course it would
but
Wait what holup
lol
1070 gtx?
ye
Okay you tripped me for a sec
You don't still have it ?
?
used for different purposes
Not by much but still better
3050 is just not a capable card, especially on laptops, it may run but on low settings
Try and buy an adapter from C to DP, it costs almost nothing
This one is awesome
wont it be useless
if i dont have thunderbolt
i just put in a thunderbolt cable connected to 2 monitors and nothing happened
Well then the answer is no
ima just cry for a bit in silence thanks for the help tho
what if i use a HDMI to DP
or is that not possibler
