My team was archer, tribbie, sparkle and gallagoat with builds good enough? (30 rolls on archer, 160 speed sparkle and the other 2 dont matter) and no matter how i tried, it was just not possible. I needed something big, like a ddd on tribbie to squeeze in the win

all my objective gripes come from it being in beta

my subjective gripes are

1. I personally prefer the TFT style of units where they are proper characters rather than something like weird pokemon knock off looking things
2. it's trying really hard to be several things at once, namely an open world game. the traversal doesn't feel good like at all and the obstacles are so fucking trivial like "use the jump pad unit to jump over this rock!" like wow man, wooooow so cool
3. after playing ZZZ for so long, to go back to the hoyo menu'ing systems where everything looks like it was taken literally from genshin's code feels just lame. where's the style! the unique stuff!
4. i'm doubling down on point 2 cause to me it really feels like the game has an identity crisis. it wants to be a friend collector from the looks of it like pokemon, an open world which works fine with collecting, but then there are the really unneccarisary ability aspect of traversal and to top it all of wants the main gameplay loop to be auto chess. auto chess is traditonally a menu simulator for a reason. do you want to be a open world friend collector or a menu based autochess game, I suggest you pick one cause for me doing both just ain't working

I do wanna say I think autochess is cool. I haven't played much TFT but what I have I liked it, same with autochess style events in other gacha games. even with that being the case I did not like what I played so far and would not recommend it to someone if they asked. if you want an open world friend collector, best you got is wuwa. if you want autochess? just go play TFT or literally auto chess.
