||Very funny buttt There's a confirmed way on how shiny hunting works and it essentially is really fucking easy to get some shinies in ZA
You can do it easiest in area 3 but there's other areas you can do it in, but like literally all you do is just enter and re-exit the area as autosaves essentially re-roll all of the pokemon there is, so like you get more shiny rolls
I have been doing this method for like a few hours it's free
It's also AFKable, you literally can just rubber band your controller and/or hold one button down and you can just get upwards of 16 shiny rolls every 2 seconds||

** **im doing a pokemon draft league with my friends based on wolfey's draft league that's going on currently (it's actually exactly the same as his, i literally just stole his draft sheet and rules and used it for mine). There's only 4 people tho and it's pretty casual, none of us have ever played any vgc against anyone besides amongst ourselves. I'm bored rn so im gonna go over the team I made for our first draft and I'll also post the next draft we have for this week.
** **It's VGC Reg H, bo3. For our first draft to keep things simple we only drafted 6 pokemon for 50 points. This was hella small so I ended up bringing this combination of weezing-galar(11), toedscruel (9), garchomp (19), fletchinder (3), rotom-freeze (6), and lapras (2, though dont even worry about this one i brought it to 0 games).
** **first one was my standard set I brought against 2 of the 3 players. They weren't running anything like fake out or status so I didn't bother covert cloak or anything like that. I also felt fine against intimidate with neutralizing gas so i just sent it with life orb garchomp. worked out pretty well for me, my main two modes were either click gale wings tailwind into tera EQ garchomp for quick KOs or weezing toedscruel lead for fast spores and specs strange steams (which I thought was spread, which is why i dont have dazzling gleam, OOPS!) It ended up working fine tho, won both of these.
** **My second set I was a little more meticulous cause I was going up against an electric surge strategy with pincurchin, alolan raichu, rotom-wash, hawlucha, goodra, and cetitan. I felt super threatened by the cetitan and hawlucha but i didnt give enough thought to the alolan raichu in electric terrain, which outsped even my choice scraf garchomp. AV also did nothing against raichu psychic, and i really didnt pick the best set for rotom-frost so i ended up losing. Lessons learned tho and it was pretty fun
** **For this next draft we decided to do the 10 pokemon, 100 points like in the original rules to open up more strategies. I'm on the far right. We were supposed to have 5 but they were busy for this week, so I decided to just go for a much more simple and balanced plan and save the cookage I came up for for when we have all 5. Pretty excited to play this one out all the same though

** **I'm not gonna leave in you suspense, i ended up going 3-0 this time. Turns out Rillaboom and Gholdengo are really good mons. I obviously ended up taking the same pokemon to all 3 games and ill go ahead and share all 3 sets from top to bottom order. If you're curious as to which teams everyone had, refer to this message. First was lyliq, then alejandro, then nodnarb, then me
** **My general gameplan against all 3 players was to start with Noivern and another mon to cover for Noivern's weaknesses against that specific team (for example against hisuian goodra I would wanna start rillaboom with high horsepower). Because this is closed team sheet open tera types, frisk is an invaluable asset and a core strategy for me in my game 1s. My main objective in game 1 is to win, obviously, but I also have a secondary objective of gaining as much information as possible for the games to come, and learning the lead's items is pivotal.
** **From there my noivern had different jobs, sometimes it clicked breaking swipe against alejandro cause he had a lot of physical attackers, sometimes it tried to do draco meteor for one shots, switcheroo with choice scarf against hatterene as a trick room read (didnt work btw) and super fang most other times
** **Gholdengo was stock standard across the board. It's gholdengo what do you want from me
** **Next is sneasler who essentially was just here to be put in the back and clean up with rillaboom and unburden grassy seed once trick room went away if it ever went up. Also pretty standard stuff here besides maybe the dark and flying coverage
** **Next is Rillaboom. Now most of the time it was your standard AV stuff. But I wanted to do something funny against Alejandro cause I thought it could work well against his faster mons like slaking annihilape infernape passimian etc. And that's grass water pledge babyyyyy. Always loved this strat and never got to try it til now. I ended up clicking it once in our two matches and my rillaboom died before it could get it off, but the thought was there :P
** **blastoise has shell smash to setup sweep, fake out to... fake out, and flip turn specifically against lyliq for gothitelle. No fake out for nodnarb cause I saw shell smash aqua jet was just in range for quite a fair bit of things, but it actually ended up almost losing me a game cause I couldn't stop a snorlax from setting up curse then rest chesto berry and one shotting most of my team.
** **standard supportive ninetails here. Didn't bring moonblast cause the support felt better and if i needed fighting or dark coverage I had it in noivern of sneasler

alright I have finished the main story of legends z-a, I’ll do a deep dive into my thoughts sometime but it’s been the first pokemon game in years that made me feel the pokemon magic like my childhood
||in particular, the lysandre battle in the postgame strikes me as one of the most beautiful moments in the game, it fleshes out hit character so much and makes him easily one of the best villains from originally one of the worst imo||

ok so the idea behind endless pokerogue is essentially that after a couple thousand levels normal methods of pokemon just become impossible because the opposing pokemon have too many of these things called "tokens" which give you a bunch of extra things but the ones that really matters is reduced damage taken and increased damage dealt which both scale infinitely iirc
so eventually even something like helping hand boosted primal kyogre water spout with all the calciums in the world isn't gonna do enough and then you get one shot back
