the helper is used to make the game grab the games shader

Manufactured randomness as in itβs not actually random, itβll just feel somewhat random
Itβll depend entirely on the order the player shoots certain tripwires (Iβll also try to mess around with timings to make it so delay between killing affects stuff)

AirZooka is sucks up momentum on left click and spits it out with right click, it's broken in a couple of ways, unfinished and not very enjoyable to use atm
also airzooka isnt triggering the rockets
MineLayer turns rockets into mines that explode when you go into them, it need some balancing to feel better to use

it has some wonkyness that places you 2 units closer than the position of the target but is there anything other than that?
maybe its intentional but also the way can buffer ur target to swap back immediately
most tripwires aren't "dynamic" which means they point once and then basically just listen to the breakable
dynamic ones do the linecast every phystick or so
e.g. ones that are attached to moving platforms in like sidequests
do they connect to a BaseDamagable that they are pointing to and if that gets removed they recheck?

so after the chest dies it rechecks and is now connected to the ringer
that should be manageable

the modifier is how much the normal drag is divided by, so it becomes a division by zero
the slopes are what caused this

things on breakable platforms stay "attached" to the platform when they are moved so they still die when the platform breaks
that's also true of the platform moving out from under the enemy iirc so i think it's that whatever breakable platform an enemy is on at startup is tied to it

they have an EnemyWaypoint that they jump back to if you move them

I tried to add custom music to my level and it works fine but it doesn't follow the volume slider in game (Music nor overall volume) βΉοΈ Not sure if I set it up wrong or something
custom music is a little bit funky, it automatically restarts the track on restart because of the way it's setup in the files
at least that's what it did with RMMBY back in the day
it might just be borked nowadays im not too sure

the custom card mod Tools Of The Trade is almost ready for a beta release, a bunch of things will be missing from this release such as
- passive card effects (when held in hand)
- hitscan effects
- hitscan weapons including melee
- showcases (tutorial popups)
- text on the card while it is floating (localization is messing this up)
- custom cards on miracle menu
- consumables
- custom UI (like fireball attitude indicator, dominion "Rock on!")
if you want to make a card with one of these lmk and ill prioritise that

yeah
ill release today or tomorrow, just need to figure out how to make functioning bullets and then some cleaning
what kinda thing are the bullets gonna do
i was thinking of ones that phase through walls and bubbles or ones that bounce off everything
bouncing is easy, you just set the _maxBounces field to whatever number you want
and probably play around with _bounceDrag
to make bullets phase through walls you would either change _collisionLayerMask to only target enemies or override UpdateProjectile and do the collision yourself
the projectile stuff at the bottom isn't done yet, and im gonna add so so many comments
it's going to be impossible to get the bullets identical to what the vanilla godspeed looks like so it's gonna have to be good enough
you can also change vanilla cards to other vanilla cards
these features are awesome

i got the project in unity hub and now when i try and open it it just stops loading after 4 seconds. is this a known issue/are there logs somewhere i can look at/send ?

i have no idea where to send this but for some reason changing your system time while the game is running breaks kill zones (and a lot of other things) while still letting you finish the level
completely useless in normal gameplay since you can't shoot or discard while inside the kill zone
Changing date and time just fucks the whole game up.
But why is one actively changing the time on a pc

ive figured out how to do proper rotation and object movement for customs without needing to do animations in unity
ive also figured out how to enable and disable objects off triggers, and im trying to figure out the onregion stuff to enable monobehaviours
i also need to find out if the current object movement scripts in game allow for looped or ping pong movement
cause currently an object can just move to a set destination but stops fully after
Animated objects can be made to loop
okay ive figured out how to make constantly moving objects using the built in spring functions
while animations can get more done (eg circular motion), using the functions built in reduces the amount of time to get simple linear moving platforms done
which imo is better overall
plus you can easily set the maximum velocity of the object meaning you can set a platform to move at running speed or water speed first try without guessing in animations

every 2nd level restart the object can just randomly freeze in the starting position

this is gonna be a stupid question but now that secretshop is a thing do i still need to download rmmby (ive never had it in the first place), the guide says yes but it also says its outdated

the only thing related to rmmby is that rmmby levels still need to go in the rmmby folder but secretshop handles loading them
also do note that only me, crispy and stxtic can make SS level. everybody elses levels will go in the rmmby folder

The mesh needs to match the waterway name. Depending on if you have all the assets imported, there might appear to be 2 mesh options with the same name, but only one is correct.
collider should be convex if accuracy is desired btw
