Alpha was so mean damn 😭
Floyd: Gameplay and Creativity both work well but just are missing a bit more to reach that perfect ranking. Theme is perfect, it works well and is exactly what you'd expect to see in the level Jam. Level visually is almost perfect but has some jank in the geometry that stops it from being a 10
Snowyyy: THIS MAP IS SILLY!! I really, really enjoy waterpark. I think the amount of different ways you can play this level is incredibly fun and diverse, the strats that can be made for it make for such unique gameplay with what feels like genuinely over a dozen routes that could be made for it. The way everything sticks to this confined area allows for so much creativity within it. In terms of visuals, I think this level does an amazing job of looking good and sticking to its theme of being a waterpark, big fan of the silly duck floaty. The only thing about it is I wouldn’t exactly call a waterpark “aquatic” per se, but I do still think it stays on theme with the competition. The way you traverse the level, even in intended path, still allows you to have fun and go on the slides, and I think it’s done a very good job of just being a fun and silly level. Good job Beanz, hope to see more levels from you :D
Dyl: routing was fun, and im sure some pretty insane stuff is possible, good level fr
Alpharad: This was my favorite level to route. Felt like Apartment in the way that there were thousands of right answers to the simple problem and I'm certain someone else could've found a route that saved like 10+ seconds despite getting the Red. Phenomenal level and felt like exactly what I want in a custom Neon White level.
Asher: Nice little level, I like that the slide colors correspond to the cards used. Does have some awkward enemy placements though.
Gj everyone who won, everyone who participated and everyone who organized/judged. really fun event and i hope this leads into more attention to custom levels :)

I think based on what I've seen I probably need greater enemy saturation and a shorter map so that there's more action over focus on getting cleaner lines
i think if you just made the "death water" after the breakable walls just normal waterways thatd make it 10x better imo

With more active creators now we def need to do at some point a big collab where its a level like abso with teleporters and everyone does like a 5-15s section

however I think it's pretty difficult to actually put INTO the mod itself, cause it has to also load a bunch of leveldata stuff, i think there also probably has to be a preset made or smth like that, that brings you into the next level (that also has to be preset)

i just realised i can have 1 triplaner shader that an individual material can controll instead of having multiple shaders for it

So there’s probably something overriding it (maybe) and I just have no idea what it is

the balloons in the editor are just placeholders so you can better see where they would be placed
the actual enemies are spawned in when the level loads
so changing materials of the ones in the editor wont do anything
ye you gotta use the "enemies spawner" spawnable
enemies are just fake enemies, only a sprite and that's it lol
my balloon will not show up in the editor still its really annoying
so if I wanted to change the enemy textures I would have to edit the enemy spawner script?
I tried finding where they are but I have no idea lol

the forcefield override radius is what I used to change it (default is 15 so mine was about 30x normal size)
yeh forcfield will change it just enable it, it wont scale in editor but will ingame

I think the solution for insight storage in custom levels is to just not make congregation
Give the boof right away and don't make the goal easily boofable at the start

does the enemy script we use actually have movement built into it
ima start the parkour civ level soon, but i need feedback on what is the preferred type of grass block:
1 (left): more standard minecraft block, design wont change from this apart from the colours (both green and brown parts will have collision)
2 (right): only difference is that i use the proper neon white grass mesh, i might change it so the grass comes out the sides more and so it isnt as deceivingly high (only the brown part will have collision)
ill let people vote bc that will be the easiest way to get answers

im inclined to believe some1 copy pasted the player win trigger in the level and forgot to deactivate it
❌ all 4 of the win triggers are active at all times
it being active's not actually why sac works
u right, didnt mean deactivate like that moreso just didnt change the properties of it, but you know more.

i also noticed that sidequest levels have the tint of the sidequest
so if its a red siquest thing will have an red tint
will try to hop on it soon
probs best for a clean unity install
theres like 1k meshes

enemies dont have scripts so u will needa delete them and replace them this is just the barebones layout
and will need to bake the reflection probes

so for enemy spawns why not just copy the positions of each enemy in the level and then one by one put in new enemies with those coordinates
surely that wont get tedious 😄
you could prob just add the scriupt of the enemies in the levels
hardmode mayhem where theres no mimics and u have to kill all the enemies yourself
or mikey levels individually
