I deliberately made this poem very jagged in rhythm and wordplay
ou la la
hi trtl!
hmm, hadn't I read it before?
ahoyy
probably
i like it a lot
I wanted to explain the poem so I posted it here as opposed to poetry discussion
✨
it's really damn good, especially the idea
hmm, maybe a Godel refference would have been suited better than the Schrodinger one
the poem doesn't have difficult diction or iambic pentameter or even a consistent stanza structure so I know it looks simple at a first glance but I overthought a lot of it
it's meant to sound a bit satirical
:D
you let the message glow
ooh
yk, we don't need to hide behind the words
perhaps
I like schrodinger's better though
my point was not to continue the theme of incompleteness but to show a grim resolution to the internal conflict in the poem
haha, yea, conceptually, yea
Yes, schrodinger's cat is "in limbo" in the liminal space of life and death
but if you think about the cat in that box by itself stuck
it struck me that it is dead
just psychologically

reminded me of the eternal struggle to find meaning
well, that what makes it interesting
we agonize over whether we are 'alive' or 'dead' to the point where we are living as though we are dead
poor kitty stuck in a box
hmm, I have a piece too, idk if you saw it
poor us, stuck in our own heads...
I suppose so
It is the tik
with the echos in tak
forever the trick
about that…shall we talk?
Maybe the seconds
love burning themselves,
igniting their reckons,
words flaming the shelves
The warmth is empty
between the red tongues
am I worthy
to know their holes?
The fire dances waltz
hearing our breath,
spinning the moments
among the death
But all this warm rot
seems to have a scope
expecting Godot
Maybe meaning comes from waiting
we're born waiting to die
we just occupy our minds with something else until then
"Maybe the seconds
love burning themselves,
igniting their reckons,
words flaming the shelves"
no because this is amazing
my goodness
haha, it's a very old one
One must imagine Sisyphus happy
🔥
haha, at least he doesn't wait for anything
he's already damned
he's freed
would you say we are free because we too are damned?
we're not free
time is insuportable for us if we don't wait for something
it doesn't make any sense
we need to wait
even if that means to go up with the elevator
I think we are free in our certainty as we wait
certainty in our eventual death
certainty in our uncertainty
life is fun that way
half alive
living is dying
🙂
I hope you have a great day :D
