the image they want to imagine.
Fooling the foolish,
for a fool is a fool
if it’s fooled by a fool
fooling a fool.
Questioning the question,
questioned by the questioner,
asking why we question.
Comedy—
questioning the imagery of a fool.
A tongue twister won’t stall a reader,
let alone the crappy wording
used as a breather.
The format of this art is but a mess,
including the obvious twist
of how this poem will end.

the ending is a tragedy.
But the poet tried—
ask Comedy.
He gave it his all.

the life, the emotions, the characters.
A brain with no crease,
a pen without ink.
Oh, Comedy—
who will you be‽
Another act‽
Another mask‽
Or do you need another girl
to come back, crawling to me?
I love you, know that.
I exist because you do.
I am your art, your work, and your soul.
We are comedy.
Imagining meaning,
Fooling ourselves,
Questioning why.
Sometimes tragedy.
We are one.
So love yourself,
before the joke ends.
