That digital pixie dust that keeps us posting.
The good stuff.
Discord snuff.
Those five-point pentacles of appreciation
Let us know our efforts are accounted accordingly.

Though have you noticed an imbalance,
Heck, I'd even go as far as to say an oversaturation,
In the starboard's roster?

I see the same signature everywhere:
Doom tombstones for upstarts.
Acid baths that dazzle the senses.
Vagrant love en masse.
Ecstacy in perfect meter.

I hereby propose a radical solution:
Bar the bard from receiving star stickers.
That guy tags every poet he's ever seen
Every time he posts poetry.
Now "I've seen the stars" means "I've read his work".

We got all kinds of poets out here competing,
Pumping out half-baked lines left and right,
Anything to put an inch or two
Between his mile-long list of star-kissed pieces.

I digress.
Despite his finesse,
His glittery sentimentality,
I've had to unfollow without rubbernecking.
It's way too much for me.
Like turning on the TV and seeing the same show on every channel.

Oliver said that there's no good or bad poetry, but we can surely agree that certain poems radiate such intense and general values, messages that they should be promoted to be broadcasted to a vast audience. Not because the poem is "good", cause it would be just (justice) for the message

Btw everyone, this is not some poet's vs the server or anyone at all. Leaderboard was created to receive appreciation and encouragement by ther server. But it's human nature that it has become more like a competition. So if anyone reading this we aren't against anyone we're here for the sake of poetry. So, no one take anything personally!!!

We meet and greet,
observe,
No words required
No need to seek validation
For our own elation

Just a simple smile and wave

And if it’s not our cup of tea,
Then we simply state “not for me”
And pass by freely
