D.I.S.A.P.P.O.I.N.T.M.E.N.T

Dream, dare, and do. That’s the motto.
In life’s endless mirage, where Glory is a mist,
Sleeps a little imp that wakes at the scent of effort
And with its fiendish hooves trips all art of ordeal.
Painful is the wound from every stumble and fall.
Painful is the man whose missteps he recalls.
Or was his reflection distorted when he
Inquired for critique in hopes for love,
Neglected with profound distaste that ate away his brain.
Tired. He’s not meant for this world. His place lies
Miles apart from all normal humans.
Each day, a nightmare he must endure,
Narrowing inner walls that refuse to fully close,
Tremors of reality muttering what death could impose.

And as for a mirror poetry, you simply start the first line with the recent word you used on your previous line

So like

"I love the sun, the sun loves you
You will love the sun,as much as I do
Do not oppose me, because the sun glares
Glares upon us with its heat despair".
