I have an English assignment and I had to write
a poem inspired from nothing Gold can Stay by Robert Frost and with a theme from the book the Outsiders

I wrote 2 poems at first, one French then one English, the first English one wasn't good for some reason, so I wrote the second English one, which wasn't valid either. So finally I wrote the third English poem, and my teacher found it fantastic

Here you go everyone!!!

Amber burns drop to the floor
A world, constantly sore
Emotions, sentiments and a memory
Experienced far too early
Knives and sharp shards of glass
Will follow wherever you pass
But In the end your worries fade away
Once the cigarettes, light up a dark day

Gold is a symbol of purity
Even though times of violence and calamity
Our childhood fleeting away
As if gold lost its shine, in the light of day
Brilliant waves warming the field
The golden sun, our past healed
Gold from a long time ago
But now living, in the freezing snow

Dawn and dusk are a symbol of unity
Pony boy and cherry, friends from a different reality
Purple pink and gold in the distant sky
A bleeding man in the park, who deserved to die
Blood will tint the morning dew
A Mustang will pull up, with it's shade of blue
A sunset and sunrise we all have in common
Before our worlds, sink to the bottom
