Just standing firmly on this earth.

Holding the moment dearly,
Seeing things a little more clearly.

Life looks different from up here,
No signs of doubt, no reason to fear.

No higher ground or grander call,
Maybe nothing changed at all,
Maybe you just stopped feeling small,
Quietly standing there… feeling tall.

I feel so mich more comfortable with a rhyming poem and I like the challenge

I got out of bed this morning and I literally felt taller like I had grown an inch over night haha. I wondered if that happens to others to... queue inspiration for the poem ☺️

Beautiful inspiration! I love when someone can focus on a good experience and make it poetic, its something I struggle with as I use poety as a way to vent. I think you've inspired me to give it a go

Thats very understandable. This one surprised me a bit because my poems can also sit heavy. Do you use it as a form of therapy to get stuff out? Because thats so relateble.

I think I just tend to be a little pessamistic! It definetly is a way to regulate and cope with my emotions, but sometimes I stress myself out by opening old wounds due to using them as inspo, it will be a nice change to do somehting more positive
