#Chipped Glass

Chipped glass sewn on my heart,
Little they know what their words start.
Cracks that refract light on a whim,
Beauty that dares to reflect — and hymn.
Wounds once new now softly cast,
Echoes born from shadows past.
Pain, the artist, conjured each dream,
Till pain itself began to gleam.
He learned to soothe each broken part,
Saved by heaven’s grace, a mended heart.
No longer bound by past heartbreak,
He cradles the light — and leaves its wake.
Each blossom once mirrored in fear,
Now blooms with light both far and near.
Lessons learned from pain long past,
Now bear fruit that shall ever last.
okay
so poets love mansplaining their poems
whats this about
well like i know
but i wanna know
Oh
:>
Give me a bit
I always loved the idra of alchemy and the closest thing we can get to it is channeling our negative emotions into a more positive impact.
Fracture → Refraction → Transmutation → Redemption → Illumination → Fruition
Fracture: the heart introduces chipped glass. A metaphor which means negatively affected by other peoples words. Some people are not cognizant in what they say. Even pain can shine beautifully if you allow it
The rest will take a while
Refraction: glass canr efract light. Your reaction towards experiences in life will shape the lense in which you percieve people life and emotions
Transmutation: Your mind keeps coming back to old hurts because your heart hasn't finished healing from them. Those repeated thoughts aren't random, they're your mind trying to understand what happened, trying to find peace with the thing that still feels fresh. When emotions don't get fully processed, they continue to show up in your thoughts. It's not about being stuck, it's about still needing to heal. These memories that won't leave you aren't a sign of weakness. They're showing you where your heart still needs attention, where wounds are still open, where healing isn't finished. Your mind isn't torturing you with these thoughts, it's trying to help you heal. It's showing you what still needs to be faced, felt, and finally understood. These thoughts will quiet when your heart finds its peace, when the healing is done, when the lessons are learned, when the pain has been fully felt.
Redemption: forgiveness. We must be kind to ourselves. Healing isnt about being who you were before the pain. Healing is about giving the space for each broken heart to be accepted processed and understood. I personafied pain and made him an artist that used his art as a coping mechanism
Illumination: shown in both the 3rd and 4th stanzas. The second couplet explains how he is well grounded in himself seperating his identity from what others have said or done. He is aware of his light and is not shy from being iridiscent himself.
4th stanza he hss went through his healing journey. What once were echoed shadows are now glistening beams of lght
Fruition: you reap what you sow. If you nourish yourself with negative talk thats what you will attract. The opposite also applies. Final stanza talks about how healing can be painful. While it is painful there is an everlasting intrinsic reward for those that are willing to dance with their demons. These are the kind of things money can not buy.
