Not through the barbaric yells and the destructive force you see people change,
Not in the screams and cries inside you see the world being sick

But by seeing the flaws in the character of your own,
By seeing and accepting things to fate
you see the beauty created by god

I say thank you god for making me realise that peers and family will not change until they do,
And in the sick world where a child is put in misery of their parents and friends

The child have the responsibility to change his view of their actions,
And we shall help those who are put into the world of god’s beauty and mature

Not the formal tone and the grand gesture
Not through just being shy and polite
But through understanding acceptance
Being grateful for what you have but not hesitant to want more

But seeing the values of the petty
currency of money and the desire of power
Seeing it’s importance yet it’s obsession
And still choosing what life is for

The meaning and purpose of life
The values by which you live and stand for
The desire of the journey not the end
Yet grateful for who you are now
That’s maturity
