what's a love poem without a muse?
would it be a sad poet's last resort?
the universe has a sense of humour
that no man can grasp let alone get
yet i'm here writing a love poem
to a muse of no name and god
to a muse of no flesh and blood
but of a thin fibre of thoughts
and now she flies among the clouds
and i fall among the leaves
and the trees look happy from down here
as she flies further away with each breath i take
her angel wings cut through the air
and i sink deeper into the mud
i came from dust and now i return
to the earth that i always loved

you've found yourself without a muse--
the only one you'll never lose.
she slips through every man's grasp
to comfort sad poets with her Good News.
may she unite your flesh and blood
with the nameless G-D you always loved.
from the mud, we all look for angels' wings in the air.
from the moment this dust was given breath,
we've seen the trees' smiles.
all poems are love poems, and every muse is one.
oh wow, that's sooo good, thanks for this creative reply
