You the Sun
And I the Moon
Sol oh Sol
You cast your firey gaze down on Terra
As you look you cover their fields
In a blanket of golden light
Your light seeps through their leaves
You make the mourning doves cry your name

And I Luna
Luna oh Luna
Make those golden fields
Into silver laced meadows
I raise the tides
I raise them in hopes you see
I make the screams of death fade
As I carry their souls away

Sol oh Sol
Do you wait for me at Dusk
Do you wait for me at Dawn
Do you wish to see my face like I do yours
Or do is it just I who sees that burning hair
And hopes that one day
Someday
I can run my hands through it

I
Luna oh Luna watch you
I mourn when without your presence
I stand by as you play with your children
The children you carefully take care of
The children I carry beyond the grave
For you

Sol oh Sol is it I Luna
Or is it Terra
Is it Terra who’s caught your gaze
Is it Terra who has you in a web
Or nothing at all

Sol oh Sol I yearn to see you
I yearn to see the real you
The you that exists here and now
And there and then
And there and when
I hope you wish the same for me
Sol

Sol oh Sol
I see it clearly now
I see where you lay that golden blanket now
I see where you shine your firey light
And where you want to
Where you can’t

I Luna
Luna oh Luna
Have sat here
In a field of lace
Raising the tides until you see
I wait
Wait until dawn to see your gold light turn to pink
I wait
Wait until dusk to see it happen again

Sol oh Sol
Do you sit and wait for me?
Have you finally seen how I watch you
How I admire you
Do you ask yourself
“Does Luna love me?”
Do you wait to see me how I wait to see you

I
Luna oh Luna
Wish I could ask you
Ask you every question I have
Until there is no more to ask
No more to say
But space to be filled
I wish you would ask me those same questions
Sol

Aw this is good.

Just a little bit of feedback...

Punctuation in this poem would really be good as it's a love poem, so, without the punctuation, it's as if the narrators are speaking quickly, but if they're expressing any form of love and nostalgia, slower is better.
