"the word sorry is the size of my heart" man omg this line is beautiful. it’s not just an apology...it’s everything you feel, compressed into one heavy n meaningful word. "i’m sorry… i was the one to take down your walls.."oh wow this ending lands with sm emotional weight. yr not just saying goodbye but ur grieving the trust they gave you, and the role you played in their story. i think u didn’t write this to make urself feel better. u wrote it to honor what you shared, even as you release it. that takes a kind of emotional courage not everyone has. and sometimes the most loving thing we can do is leave..and love from afar. you wrapped that truth in grace and sincerity. and whoever this reaches,whether it’s ur friend, or just ur own heart,i hope it brings a little peace. you loved deeply. you let go gently. and yr still choosing to care, even from a distance, its reltable to me too
