Love this so far. The repetition is good and almost... Grounding.

I'm no authority on rhythm so just a suggestion - would 'A love that trult heals' flow better? Because the 'that'd' interrupts and creates almost a tripping over sensation for me. Unless! That's the aim. In which case bravo! It forces the reader - me- to feel jolted and interrupted.

Also 'All I want is just to have my turn'... 'even if I'm not winning' is such a good line! I loved that.

The overall metaphor works for me, chasing a love that's bright and pure and would 'heal' even if it burns you.
