i want to hear my childhood laughter
once again before the unknown after
the hereafter is the part where you accept what is eternal
the part where im whispered answers i thought i needed internal
i hope its like being held in arms otherworldly delicate
i hope ill become a tree or some sort of significant element
id like to be carried to the gates that shimmer
yield from the end that feels whole and
i hope i get the serenity i was promised in the life they stole
placid slumber, the repose in the respite
except for once i am not temporary
i wont have to think about tomorrow
maybe this is the end of the everlasting sorrow
