This feels like a puzzle
My interpretation is probably wrong since it’s one that deserves to be posted in the sensitive channel
Im honestly stumped at the lines “This ochre, glistening stream\ Does tinkle pleasantly against pearl”
This is above my level you’re gonna have to help me out
gulp
I'm understanding - most likely inaccurately - the poem to be about death. The ivory realm symbolising an afterlife, with the wish to enter this afterlife as soon as possible, calling it a sweet exit and blissful relief.
I still don't understand what the ochre glistening stream and pearl are supposed to be symbolising. The final lines can be reaffirming the urgency of wanting to enter the afterlife calling life on earth the dream of scheming minute churl
sure, absolutely
OH MY LORD
HAHHAHA
HAHA yeah, it all makes sense when you look at it like that
Yeah good work mate 😂
