It’s pitch black at night
Nothing but a purple light
Lampposts that once were warm
But are now faded and torn
It rains down on us
But we don’t care too much
Splatters on the concrete
That sits beneath our feet
I rest there with you
Our bones do not chill
My skeleton and I
A lover and I gazing at the sky
Our hearts do not beat
They are buried down underneath
Our spark preserved
Through the cloud’s evening tears
Our smog makes the love
That our skulls cannot show
Inspired by my artwork
