Ice king
Coming in congruent, sharpened edge,
Slipping upon the bloodying of flesh,
And breezes — this icy wind upon the top,
Breathing the blue glacier that swallows best.
And pointing up with biting teeth, ever white,
Cloak this man in the blue tint, under rib,
Ribs hollowed out like that skull of yours,
From biting the edges of ice cream cones.
Ice made to thirst for the sweetness of candy,
Ice king made and come, thirsting for sweet —
Something akin to a human blood quest,
Love overridden by madness thick ice.
“Feed it to your red stone upon the crown,”
And make of biting fervor — lust.
Sleep on the slab, so stubborn and thick,
As the stone that lies heavy on your memory,
As the crown-stone lays on your head, heavy.
Hotness to the eyes — this crimson takes you,
Quite simply, a victim.
Ages and ages you lived,
And kept that Simon frozen within.
But who is to save you
When you fall between cracks
Of crashing ice — an aether of you,
Underneath the burdensome frozen?
Fractured in the broken stone,
Cracked, when you look into it,
Cracked, like you, when you see,
Remember yourself,
Remember me,
Sleepy, the moon sinks hollow,
Like those eyes of yours, slipping
Into sleep — muttering, a child
Into insanity, finger-picking fabric.
Far away —
That woman wears glasses,
That child bears a stuffed toy.
Look into me,
Right in the crushing blue of ice,
Right in the swallowing red of
Unrelenting insanity.
Ice King —
Come back to me.
