They tear, they throw,
They come to me with woe.
Shame on you,
You mock me,
You hurt me,
You laugh at me,
And yet, you speak well?
I long for the day the truth arrives,
Eyes filled with fear, though you were warned.
Eyes filled with joy belong to the humble.
Oh, how long before the day of the call?
You know, yet you praise me;
When I’m alone, you strike me,
You come with mockery,
And still, you speak well?
Indeed, you mock yourself,
Knowing you are dead,
