Autumn reminds me of jazz

The tenor sax playing like the crisp fall breeze
The Piano playing as light as the rain tapping your face
The Drums playing like Charlie Brown after thanksgiving

Yet this band refuses to stay in one spot
It tours across the world
Until their eventual hiatus till next year
Leaving only the leaves to remember them by

I hope they play extra long this year
So I can savor their music over a nice earl grey

a warm poem and unique take of autumn. i love how you distinguished elements of autumn as its own instrument, then transitioning to a collective band. the idea of the band touring across the world is quite smart

i'd recommend strengthening your metaphors by changing the active subject to autumn's elements. with more description, you can immerse the reader in autumn with jazz acting as the metaphor's vehicle.
