Eyes darting the sky
My focus torn between
Our exchanged words
And the stars up high.
Nothing pays the scene
The feeling in me this stirs.
Glistening shiny dots
Easily penetrate pitch black-
Light streaks fall like shots
Burning fiercely in the air
Enhacing a faint spark,
Holding captive my stare.
"Make wishes!" - he said,
How could I not remember,
When he is the only presence
Running through my head?
"I did" - I quickly reply,
Hoping my wish reached high.
Four times I wished-
For you, to grow roses
That bloom in your lungs.
To make my presence missed
Everytime your eyes close;
Not pass as a simple shrug.
For your rhythmic heartbeat
To finally align with mine;
Make us both feel complete.
Bleed, as thorns pierce
A deep devotion sign,
A feeling hard to resist.
Under this exquisite night,
I wished for the stars
To cure all your scars
And in your heart ignite,
The fierce burning blaze
That got me living in a daze.
