Solace blossomed within,
Along the trodden trail of withered dreams,
Cradled by the sounds of the Soul,
When the lanterns softly glow.
Beneath the stars, the moon and the sky,
I tell a tale of gloom, and behold—
The velvet hush of hope in bloom,
As eternal darkness melts to dawn.
I hum the Song of the Soul,
Sailing through the notes of life,
Sprinting to hold the horizon, I burn,
Embers singe my barefoot flight.
Defeat —
not in this life, not again,
Rumbling to the sky, I ran
On until the bloom of truth unfurled,
“You are enough” — and the sky gleamed.
