@subtle veldt i made many updates to this. lmk if u want me to post the original version
I wanna see both ofc ✌️ nothing compares to a write orginal work (but ngl in my orhinally I do spell alot of words wrong)
OMG, this peak i like the way u compare his skin to brown sugar, 😭 I never heard someone use such a similie to describe black beauty
Wonderful! @subtle veldt has just progressed to level 1!
original
like i wanted to express his caribbean identity in a way that's significant
and also i wanted to positively speak about his blackness as this poem is about who i hope to be as an adult
i feel like my poetry is for the black men and women who needed a medium to represent their uniqueness
I see, ur great at building a personality for yourself that fits ur oldtimey jazz asstic, it works well with ur poetry centered around colored people, I enjoy hearing it u remind me of Langston hughes
i need to read his poetry because some people have said i remind them of him😭
U are him bro 😭
But better lowk, cus he's a Lil overrated
adult zion is jazzier, handsome, creative, and well off 💪🏿
I belive in that bro
i still got more peaks to reach as poet but thank u so much 😭
Ayy we all got higher later to climb 🗣🗣 but ur already rather far, try to look down
im currently reading mother to son and i realized i read it before when i was little
like in primary school
wait a damn minute...
i really do write like him
Yes bro 😭
i could definitely write something like the weary blues ngl
I deadahh see y become a black activist in the future ngl 😭
😭 i may be, i may not 👀
Ayy even if u don't keep writing shi inspirational 🗣🙄
