reading poems will help and practicing using poem prompts im not an expert or anyhing so i think reading and practicing is the way to go
Hey, I know how tough writer’s block can be. I’ve been there so many times where everything I write just feels flat or like a kid’s story. Honestly, one thing that helped me was just accepting that my first drafts don’t have to be perfect. Sometimes I’ll write the absolute worst version on purpose, just to get started. It feels freeing, and usually something better comes out of it later when I go back and fix things.
Also, try changing up where you write or take a break and do something totally different for a bit. Sometimes I go outside, take a walk, or just listen to music that I love. That helps my brain reset and ideas come back naturally.
Another thing I do is pick a random sentence from a book or a song lyric and use it as a starting point, even if it feels weird at first. It gets my imagination going again.
And if you’re stuck, try freewriting for ten minutes — just write whatever comes to mind without thinking too much. It’s messy but it gets your thoughts flowing.
Honestly, it’s okay to struggle. Everyone does, even famous writers like Shakespeare. Just keep at it and don’t be too hard on yourself. You’ll find your flow again. Sending good vibes your way!
All these ideas are amazing, thank you so much 🤍🤍
