This piece is not an original one. I picked up some lines from William Douglas's short story, "Deep Water", and put together this little poem, thought I'd try something new. So here you go: Depth.
Then strangely, there was light,
At least in my eyes.
The yellowish light was going out,
I sucked for air,
Then all efforts ceased,
As a blackness swept over my brain,
No more panic,
Nothing to be afraid of,
To be drowsy,
To go to sleep,
To cross oblivion,
Icy horror would grab my heart,
I must go to sleep...
