Arachnid 🕷️

{(4-3-6):||}
Spiders lurking
Right inside the corners
Of your house.
Creepy crawlies
Moving up and down your
Hairless spine.
They bite as they
Inject venom from their
Toxic glands.
Vision’s blurry,
So you grasp the wall with
Shaky hands.
Feeling dizzy -
Frantically, you search to
Find a cure.
But you pass out
Before the antidote
Breaks cover.
You see flashes
Of light, and strange voices
Overlap,
As distant sounds
Grow louder, echoing
Endlessly.
Tinnitus screams
With high-pitch, leaving your
Neurons numb . . .
You wake up now.
You’re in a pool of drool
On the floor.
You’re not alone!
Something or someone waits
In the dark.
‘Hello?’ you say,
The antidote - was it . . .
Even there?
Shadows conspire,
Crawling by the dozen.
Fear traps you.
This haunted house -
You never should have come!
- No escape.
Swarms upon swarms -
They cover you - now all
Hope is lost!
You then transform,
For you yourself become
Arachnid. 🕷️
